Risen Energy Ltd

About the company

Based in Ningbo, a major port city 220 km south of Shanghai, Risen is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of solar modules in China.

Founded in 2002 and listed on the Chinese stock market in 2010, Risen has sold more than 1GW of solar modules and in the last three years has been exporting solar products all over the world. The company’s main customers include Siemens, Wallmart, Westinghouse, NSN, and Luxor.

Risen offers a full range of high quality solar products, from modules to solar lighting and solar systems, to suit all applications. Its target is to be the number one solar company in the world.

Products certified

All of the company’s solar modules are fully compliant with the UK’s Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). These include a very wide range of poly-crystalline and mono-crystalline photovoltaic modules.

Importance of MCS Certification

Most UK customers are familiar with MCS scheme and many require certification to it, so MCS is the best tool for promoting Risen’s products in the UK solar market.

Making all solar modules fully compliant with the MCS scheme ensures that Risen’s installations meet the requirements of the UK’s Feed-in Tariff scheme.

Vina Ge, Regional Sales Manager at Risen Energy, said:

‘BRE Global’s MCS scheme is very well known in the market. Last year we worked and cooperated well with the BRE Global team and expect to work with them again in future.’
