Information for Installers
The scope of this scheme is the supply, design, installation, set to work, commissioning and handover of the Microgeneration technologies.
An assessment is undertaken at the contractor's office(s) and at least one installation site to ensure that policies and procedures meet the requirements of the scheme and that the work that has been undertaken is consistent with the system design.
This scheme is open to companies involved in the supply, design, installation, set to work and commissioning of Microgeneration systems and technologies.
This scheme replaces the Clear Skies and PV programme schemes which have now been phased out.

New Applications
To submit a new application to BRE Global for Certification under the Microgeneration Installer Certification Scheme please complete form BF 1100

Surveillance visits
If you are already MCS Certificated by BRE Global and would like to arrange your annual surveillance visit, please complete the form BF 1101

Additional Technologies
If you are already MCS Certificated by BRE Global and would like to add an additional technology to the scope of your Certification, please complete either of the following documents;
If you would like to add an additional technology and have the assessment combined with your annual surveillance visit, this enables us to reduce the cost of the assessment. In this respect, please complete the following document BF 1101
