A training course on 25 October at BRE in Watford will explain how to identify a variety of modern construction methods.
Homes of modular and non traditional construction are being built in increasing numbers to meet high housing demands and to achieve low and zero carbon targets set by Building Regulations.
The BRE Training course, 'How to identify and survey domestic Modern Methods of Construction' will provide surveyors and other property professionals with the tools and knowledge to identify different frame types, cladding systems, materials and services that are commonly used.
The course is presented by BRE experts and will also provide guidance on common problems that can be associated with modern construction methods which will be invaluable when carrying out condition surveys on these types of properties. The course will award 6hours of CPD.
