2/7/2015

Following the recently-announced collaboration between the BRE Academy and the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA)*, new discounts and benefits will be available from the end of July to members of each organisation.

Members of the BRE Academy, the leading training provider for the built environment, and IEMA, the professional body for over 15,000 environment and sustainability professionals around the world, are eligible for exclusive discounted reciprocal membership rates. This initiative is designed to help upskill members of each organization.

Existing BRE Academy members will benefit from a 15% saving on IEMA’s Affiliate Membership, discounted rates for IEMA conferences, workshops and networking sessions, and free subscription to the environment and sustainability magazine ‘the environmentalist’

Director of the BRE Academy, Pauline Traetto commenting on this agreement said ‘Supporting individuals with lifelong learning is an integral part of the BRE Academy’s vision, and this will allow our members to expand and continue their learning journey further, benefitting from additional recognition, expertise and knowledge through the IEMA membership.’

IEMA’s members will be able to join the BRE Academy for half the normal fee. They will then benefit from discounts on training courses, free access to webinars, reduced price publications from BRE and a badge of recognition showing their area of expertise.

CEO of IEMA, Tim Balcon said I am delighted that IEMA and the BRE Academy have created this important partnership, which will provide enhanced value and benefits to our Members, particularly with regards to professional recognition and transferability to building services skills across the world.”
